Here's what you need to know about the heavily redacted affidavit used to obtain a search warrant for President Trump's home
There are dozens of important stories to report about yesterday’s Friday Night News Dump after the redacted affidavit was released - but I’ve tried to give you quotes and clips of the best coverage in ten minutes or less. Enjoy.
They promised to release the affidavit outlining “probable cause” to raid President Trump’s home. This is what it looked like. They redacted everything as we expected. But, reading through the lines - it appears they used articles in the “fake news” to prove probable cause. That’s called “circular reporting” and it’s FAKE. They did the same thing with every other hoax they’ve engineered about Trump in the past six years.
For those of you wondering how that works - here’s a little story I wrote for Facebook. This is a good story to share with your friends and family to help them understand.
“Let's say you live in a town called Pottersville. The most powerful man in the town is Mr. Potter. He's the Mayor. He runs the bank. He controls the local police. He controls the local prosecutors & district attorneys. He owns the local newspaper.
The people don't like Mr. Potter much - so they vote him out and replace him with George Bailey. Now, George isn't liked by all people - particularly the relatives of Mr. Potter - but he does a good job for the town and works for the people of Pottersville - and they grow to respect and admire him. George Bailey keeps his promises.
Mr. Potter's son - Harry - is very angry about this and wants to become Mayor and take back the town for his father. But he needs to come up with a way to turn the people against George Bailey so he can make that happen.
So he goes to the local prosecutor - who will do whatever Mr. Potter asks because Mr. Potter owns the bank and sends him lots and lots of money - and says: "I need to see your file on George Bailey - what crimes has he committed - what people has he harmed?"
The prosecutor - fearing the wrath of the Potter family - says: "I'm so sorry - George's file is clean. We have no evidence of any crimes he's committed. But if you find one - we'll arrest him!"
So Harry Potter goes home and makes up a nasty story about George Bailey - and sends it to the local newspaper - which, of course, is still owned by Mr. Potter!
The newspaper runs the story on the FRONT PAGE - and says it was from "anonymous sources." The headline reads "MAYOR GEORGE BAILEY ALLEGEDLY COMMITTED A HORRIBLE CRIME AND THE PEOPLE ARE OUTRAGED." Fact checkers tell the town that the article is TRUE.
The local prosecutor - who of course is just waiting for this new "evidence" of a crime - uses the newspaper article as an excuse to get a judge and a grand jury to indict George Bailey for his alleged crimes - and then the Sheriff - who is also bribed by Mr. Potter - goes to raid and arrest George Bailey.
A jury - which has been carefully selected from close relatives of Mr. Potter and his family - convicts George and he is removed from office! Nobody really understands the crime that George committed - but the local newspaper says he did it so it MUST BE SO.
So, George Bailey is sent to prison based on a newspaper article that was actually written by his opponent, for a crime that he never committed and the people end up right back where they started. This is how circular reporting works.”
Mr. Potter is the DEEP STATE.

These rats operate under the banner of counterintelligence so that they get to keep all their little rats in their little ship and the rest of the FBI agents don’t find out about it.
What would have happened if this had occurred and President Trump would not have had Truth Social to announce it to the world that it was happening? It would have been really, really dark.”
Here’s what John Solomon said about the redactions:
- It feels like the criminalization of a document dispute between the National Archives and President Trump. Could have been resolved in 5 minutes if AG Garland reached out to Trump.
- Former FBI agents have “grave concerns… whether they even met the probable cause standards” to conduct the raid.
- The warrant cites 2 fake news articles as their basis for the raid!
- POTUS is the ultimate declassifying authority.
- Refers to the documents as having “classified markings,” not as actually classified. Big difference.
Here’s what Mike Davis - former legal counsel for Grassley & Gorsuch said:
MIKE DAVIS: "This home raid on President Trump was unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful... The President has the absolute constitutional authority to declassify anything he wants for any reason he wants and he doesn't have to get permission from any bureaucrat at the National Archives to do that and that is confirmed by a 1988 Supreme Court case, Department of the Navy vs Egan...
The President has the sole statutory authority to make the determination whether a record is a personal record that belongs to him or a presidential record that goes to the bureaucrats at the National Archives... And that is confirmed by a 2012 decision by an Obama judge related to Judicial Watch and Tom Fitton's lawsuits against President Clinton related to eight years of audio tapes in his sock drawer...
It is legally impossible for a former president to obstruct investigations into non-crimes... Congress gives former presidents secure office space, staff, security clearance, and secret service protection to guard these paper records and there is no allegation got into the wrong hands unlike Hillary Clinton's home server where she had foreign governments hack the most highly classified secrets in our government and she didn't get a FBI raid — so what was so urgent that caused the Biden DOJ to get this records?
I think it's because President Trump declassified and made personal his copy of the Crossfire Hurricane records and the Biden DOJ never made them public because they are so damning on Obama, Hillary, the FBI, and the IC...
They said that the AG didn't personally authorize this raid — he absolutely did. They also said that the Biden WH was not involved in this raid — they absolutely were because WH Deputy counsel Jonathan Su had to relay that Biden waived President Trump's assertion of executive privilege which paved the way for this raid.
This is a political hit on a former president."
Nunes affirmed what Davis said:
POSOBIEC: "This may have been the underlying Russiagate documents that they were after here because when I'm reading this affidavit, I do see the caveat of FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) and HGS human intelligence control systems, some of the same type of intelligence classification caveats, markings, that you would see with a FISA operation. Do you believe it's possible they could be going for those documents?"
NUNES: "I don't see how it's anything but that. If you just go through the history of this, this all stems from a leak back in 2021. There was a leak from the archives and the folks that went to the usual suspects, and of course, the fake news and all the pundits jumped out and said, 'oh my God, Trump has these classified documents.’
I'm sure at that time that Trump and the rest of the team had no idea what they were talking about. So it sounds like then they were cooperating through whatever was there, and then of course you've got the whole case that I'm familiar with, which is how Trump Republicans which had reviewed many of these Russiahoax documents and said they're all declassified, Trump said many times they're all declassified.
I think specifically, late in 2020 that everything dealing with Russiahoax is absolutely declassified, but then lo and behold, a lot of people don't know this but what we all assumed was going to be in the archives because Trump had declassified this, this is what we've been led to believe, then John Solomon who you just had earlier, said they go to the archives and there's nothing there.
So, I have no idea how that happened. These were declassified, the President said no fewer than hundreds of times. These are of utmost importance to the American public for the malfeasance of the Department of Justice, the FBI, that dates back to the Obama-Biden administration, many of whom are still in the new administration, the Biden administration today.”
Then, after all that, Steve Bannon predicted on Rudy Giuliani’s show that we will see “at least a dozen FBI officials, including Wray, go to prison,” for suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election.
“This is treason.”
Bannon’s statements came after Mark Zuckerberg admitted on Joe Rogan that the FBI directed Facebook to hide the truth about Hunter Biden’s laptop from the American people before the 2020 election.

Here’s what Zuck said under oath in 2020:
Mark Zuckerberg: Senator, as I’ve told the committee before, we relied heavily on the FBI’s intelligence to alert us through public testimony and private briefings.
Senator Ron Johnson: Did the FBI contact you and tell you the New York Post story was false?
Mark Zuckerberg: Senator, not about that story specifically.
Senator Ron Johnson: Why did you throttle it back
Mark Zuckerberg: They alerted us to be on heightened alert of the risk of hack and leak operations… To be clear on this, we didn’t censor the content. We flagged it for fact-checkers to review and pending that review we temporarily constrained its distribution.
A few years ago I reported that Peggy Noonan of the Wall Street Journal said that Facebook held a meeting and invited Koch Libertarians so that they could convince the Republicans that it's okay for a private company to censor people, because they didn't want them to overturn Section 230. The Libertarians and guys like Glenn Beck said it's fine if Facebook censors people because they're a private company, they're not the government. NOT KIDDING.

Now Zuckerberg goes on Rogan's show and says it's not Facebook censoring, it's the FBI pushing Facebook to censor and that is the real election interference. Does anybody see what I'm seeing here? Zuckerberg spent $400 million dollars to rig the 2020 election and now they're blaming the FBI instead. Not that the FBI wasn't involved. But come on. This is major CYA for Zuck.
