House RINOs expel a Republican based only on indictments - not convictions. Is this a precedent to block President Trump from running?
George Santos, a Republican, has been expelled from Congress by House RINOs - with no due process - for allegedly misusing campaign funds for his own personal use. Until today, no Member of Congress has ever been expelled without a felony conviction in court.
Bannon said this is payback organized by McCarthy to humiliate Speaker Johnson & Matt Gaetz for ousting McCarthy as Speaker. I think it’s more than that…
This is the third time the US House has voted to expel George Santos. This time it worked.
George Santos has not been CONVICTED of a crime. He was indicted by the House Ethics Committee led by Republicans after he was indicted by New York Democrats and Biden’s DOJ. Just like President Trump.
Meanwhile, Democrat Representatives in the House - Jamaal Bowman, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, Mad Maxine Waters and others accused of much more serious crimes - will never face such a vote.
It sounds to me like they removed Santos without due process (and only based on indictments) so they can do the same thing to Trump.
Expelling Santos from Congress required a two-thirds vote of the full House. RINOs in the House helped Democrats achieve that today.
On Tuesday, Santos was hit with a 23-count superseding indictment from Biden’s DOJ.
“Santos Allegedly Filed Fraudulent Fundraising Reports with the FEC to Obtain Financial Support for His Campaign and Repeatedly Charged the Credit Cards of Campaign Contributors Without Authorization” – the Joe Biden DOJ said in a press release.
Democrats have been gunning for Santos since he entered Congress. The New York Republican has one of the strongest conservative voting records of any freshman Republican entering Congress.
The Eastern District of New York on Tuesday announced Santos was charged with:
One count of conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States, two counts of wire fraud, two counts of making materially false statements to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), two counts of falsifying records submitted to obstruct the FEC, two counts of aggravated identity theft, and one count of access device fraud, in addition to the seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the United States House of Representatives that were charged in the original indictment.
“As alleged, Santos is charged with stealing people’s identities and making charges on his own donors’ credit cards without their authorization, lying to the FEC and, by extension, the public about the financial state of his campaign. Santos falsely inflated the campaign’s reported receipts with non-existent loans and contributions that were either fabricated or stolen. This Office will relentlessly pursue criminal charges against anyone who uses the electoral process as an opportunity to defraud the public and our government institutions.”
George Santos was charged and arrested in May 2023 in New York after a federal jury returned a 13-count indictment. Santos said it was a witch hunt.
Santos was charged with 7 counts of wire fraud, 3 counts of money laundering and on count of theft of public funds in May. Tuesday’s charges are in addition to the previous 7 counts. Santos was overcharged by zealous government prosecutors just like Trump.

A group of RINOs from New York are doing the Democrats’ dirty work and introduced a resolution to expel Santos from Congress.
The resolution was co-sponsored by New York GOP Reps. Nick LaLota, Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, Nick Langworthy and Brandon Williams.
The right of every American under our Constitution to due process is essential. Republicans won’t impeach Biden or Mayorkas so the best they can do is team up with Democrats and expel their own members.
The measure garnered at least 2/3’s of the votes in the House and he is now no longer a member of Congress. The vote was 311 to 114. Here are the RINOs who voted to oust Santos. This is why Republicans lose. They do it to themselves. On purpose. Primary them out!

PT: “I have no desire to fight for the problematic and grandstanding George Santos, but I can think of many other members of Congress who are long overdue for expulsion instead. This was never about Santos, this was about cutting the GOP majority in the House.
So the House will expel George Santos, but has left in place several other people who have done far worse:
- Nancy Pelosi: Who has been benefitting off of and clearly utilizes insider information to make lucrative stock trades.
- Jamal Bowman: Who intentionally pulled a fire alarm to disrupt proceedings and then lied about not knowing it was an alarm.
- Alexandria Ocasio Cortez: Who told several lies about the J6 events including lies about being possibly under attack by capitol police when video evidence has surfaced as well as geographical evidence proved she wasn't in the building.
- Rashida Tlaib: Violating campaign finance violations by receiving a campaign salary WHILE receiving a congressional salary knowingly.
- Bob Menendez stashed $500,000+ in cash and gold bars in his home closet - not expelled from Congress.
- Eric Swalwell had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy - not expelled from Congress.
- Dianne Feinstein was chauffeured around by a Chinese spy for 20 years - not expelled from Congress.
HOUSE REP: “What they did to George Santos today is insane & one more nail in the coffin of the rules of engagement that sustained our republic for centuries. I don't care what Santos said about me in the past, or what he's accused of. This is the 1st eviction without conviction in US history.”

GATEWAY PUNDIT: Congressman George Santos (R-NY) on Thursday filed a resolution to expel Congressman Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) for pulling a fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building to delay a Congressional Proceeding.
In what could be the dwindling hours of George Santos’ tenure as a member of Congress, the Republican decided to make a little commotion on the steps of the U.S. Capitol and hold a press conference. Santos reaffirmed he would not be resigning ahead of a vote tomorrow about whether the House should expel him; in fact, he would be filing an expulsion resolution of his own against a fellow lawmaker.
Standing proud and defiant, Santos told a group of reporters Thursday morning that he would be introducing a privileged resolution to expel Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman because Bowman pulled a fire alarm in a Congressional office building back in September during government funding bill talks. (Bowman was charged with a misdemeanor and pleaded guilty, and will have to pay a fine and serve three months’ probation.)
The House Ethics Committee voted not to investigate Bowman over the incident—it’s evenly split between Republicans and Democrats—which just doesn’t sit well with Santos.
“Now, had that been any other person, one of the members of the media, a Republican member of Congress, we all know that that person would have been charged with obstructing a Congressional hearing,” Santos said.
“If the House wants to start a different precedent and expel me, that is going to be the undoing of a lot of members of this body because this will haunt them in the future where mere allegations are sufficient to have members removed from office when duly elected by their people in their respective states and districts.”

Whatever you think of Santos - know that none if this is happening to right a wrong or help the American people. It’s all about them figuring out ways to take down President Trump and MAGA and hurt the American people. What we allow will continue!
