In 2018, news anchor Liz Collin of WCCO-TV in Minneapolis asked a psychologist from Hazelden in the Twin Cities to come on the air and speak about addiction. Liz Collin was a great supporter of the recovery community in Minneapolis.
Being an alcoholic in recovery myself, who had personally assisted Hazelden’s marketing department to 12-step addicts in need of treatment, I was always pleased when the local media addressed this ever growing issue. So were my friends at Hazelden.
Two years later, Liz Collin would be driven out of WCCO, after a 14 year career, because of her honest reporting on George Floyd and due to the simple fact that she is married to a police union leader.
Liz was called a racist and many other disgusting names, by her own co-workers, local activists and BLM-ANTIFA, and by people she once called friends, for telling the truth - and received numerous death threats. Just like me.
Liz Collin even had to leave her job at WCCO because of her hate-filled, vicious co-workers.
Liz Collin just wrote a book called THEY'RE LYING: THE MEDIA, THE LEFT AND THE DEATH OF GEORGE FLOYD which chronicles how the Minnesota politicians, the media and even the Minneapolis Police Department all lied about what really happened to George Floyd on Memorial Day 2020.
I just read it and it is an eye-opening documentary, presenting irrefutable evidence including direct testimony from Floyd's inner circle, court documents and many people on the ground.
According to reporter Liz Collin's new book, there is even a police report and sexual assault examination confirming that a woman accused George Floyd of RAPING HER - ONE WEEK BEFORE HE DIED. I'm attaching a page about that from the book. What happened to that woman?
It was covered up by the local media and the Minneapolis PD. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Will the leadership at Hazelden stand up for Liz Collin and defend her against the mob? I'd like to see that happen. Show Liz Collin the respect she deserves. The recovery community has been LIED TO about George Floyd! The mob burned down my city based on a lie - and our leaders let them!
If Republicans can take back Minnesota from many of the leaders who LIED about George Floyd, like Walz & Frey & Ellison, which looks like a great possibility right now, they MUST expose the real story of George Floyd to heal the division in our state!
