Who won the debate? Here's what I think.
I taped the full RNC debate and watched it last night BEFORE I read all the reviews so I could draw my own conclusions. My take? The only person who appeared confident, well-schooled & articulate was Vivek Ramaswamy. The rest of the candidates failed to impress me at all and kept repeating donor talking points.
My opinion is that President Trump won the RNC debate in absentia.
I’ve written much about DeSantis in the past year to help educate people about who he really is. If you haven’t read my analysis of DeSantis & the Kochs - please do so!
So, now that we know who DeSantis really is - what do you need to know about Vivek? Should he be Trump’s VP? Is he qualified to be President of the United States? Let’s review.
BANNON: Ramaswamy is an "unaffiliated" voter in Ohio and has described himself in the past as being a “libertarian freestyler.”
Vivek said he voted for "libertarian" Michael Badnarik for President in the 2004 election but did not vote for a US President in 2008, 2012 or 2016.
He has contributed to both Republican and Democrat candidates in the past.
Ramaswamy did NOT vote for President Trump in 2016.
Ramaswamy said he went on to become a "hardcore" Trump supporter in 2020 and voted for him in 2020.
Hmm, so Ramaswamy suddenly decided to vote at the age of 36 for President the first time since college? Something is off here. Just saying....sounds like another Koch/Soros plant. We shall see. If he became a "hardcore" Trump supporter in 2020 - why isn't he supporting Trump instead of running for President himself?
I think Vivek is a very intelligent guy, is very charming and is a great public speaker. However, IMHO he can't win the General Election - there's no way a Hindu Vegan male - who made his fortune in Big Pharma - can win a fair General Election in America today. Just saying.
It doesn't matter how good of a speaker he is - he can’t win a General. That's not racist or bigoted - that's a reality in today’s America.
He’s smart enough to know that too - which makes it even more interesting why he has chosen to run for President now.
Ramaswamy is Hindu. Nikki Haley was born into a Sikh family and is a practicing Christian.
Vivek Ramaswamy was raised by Indian immigrants and is a practicing Hindu. Does that matter?
DO VIVEK SUPPORTERS EVEN KNOW WHAT BEING A HINDU MEANS?
Hinduism is the third-largest religion worldwide, after Christianity and Islam. Roughly 94 percent of the world’s Hindus live in India.
Hindus worship a number of different gods and minor deities, honor a range of symbols, use several different holy books and celebrate their religion with a wide variety of traditions, holidays and customs.
Followers believe there are multiple paths to reaching their many gods. Hindus worship many gods and goddesses in addition to Brahman, who is believed to be the supreme God force present in all things.
Some of the most prominent idols in Hinduism include:
Brahma: the god responsible for the creation of the world and all living things
Vishnu: the god that preserves and protects the universe
Shiva: the god that destroys the universe in order to recreate it
Devi: the goddess that fights to restore dharma
Krishna: the god of compassion, tenderness and love
Lakshmi: the goddess of wealth and purity
Saraswati: the goddess of learning
The caste system in India began with Hinduism. There are four major sects of Hinduism: Shaivism, Vaishnava, Shaktism and Smarta.
The caste system is a social hierarchy in India that marks and divides Hindus based on their karma and dharma. The caste system literally determines if people are worthy or not! It's like Hitler’s EUGENICS on steroids.
The four main castes (in order of prominence) include:
Brahmin: the intellectual and spiritual leaders
Kshatriyas: the protectors and public servants of society
Vaisyas: the skillful producers
Shudras: the unskilled laborers
Many subcategories also exist within each caste. The “Untouchables” - over 150 MILLION people in India - are a class of citizens that are outside the caste system and considered to be in the lowest level of the social hierarchy. THEY ARE SHUNNED AND ISOLATED FROM BIRTH. IT IS THE MOST RACIST AND BIGOTED SOCIETY IN THE WORLD.
For centuries, the caste system has determined every aspect of a person’s social, professional and religious status in India. In other words, your position in life is determined at birth and NEVER changes. This creates an insufferable arrogance among the "elites."
Transgenderism (or the third gender) and cross-dressing is also widely practiced by Hindus. It's part of their religion. The most common are the hijras. Hijras are born male but look and dress like women. Many choose to undergo a castration ceremony, removing their male genitalia as an offering to the Hindu goddess Bahuchara Mata. Now you know one place where all the transgender nonsense comes from!
Hinduism is closely related to Buddhism. Buddhism, in fact, arose out of Hinduism, and both believe in reincarnation, karma and that a life of devotion and honor is a path to salvation and enlightenment.
However, Buddhism rejects the caste system of Hinduism and does away with the rituals, the priesthood and the gods that are integral to the Hindu faith.
Hindus value many sacred writings as opposed to one holy book.
The primary sacred texts, known as the Vedas, were composed around 1500 B.C. Most scholars believe Hinduism started somewhere between 2300 B.C. and 1500 B.C. in the Indus Valley, near modern-day Pakistan.
Between 1757 and 1947, the British controlled India. At first, the new rulers allowed Hindus to practice their religion without interference. But later, Christian missionaries sought to convert and westernize the people.
Many reformers emerged during the British Period. The well-known politician and peace activist, Mahatma Gandhi, led a movement that pushed for India’s independence.
The partition of India occurred in 1947, and Gandhi was assassinated in 1948. British India was split into what are now the independent nations of India and Pakistan, and Hinduism became the major religion of India.
Starting in the 1960s, many Hindus migrated to North America and Britain, spreading their faith and philosophies to the western world.
Should America, founded on Judeo-Christian values, be ruled by a Hindu, Buddhist or Muslim leader? What do you think? I THINK NOT.
I think the big issue for any candidate are his/her childhood roots and lifelong beliefs. Zebras don't change their stripes. Obama pretended to be a Christian but was raised Muslim & Communist and has Muslim & atheist beliefs. Look how that ended up.
IMHO, we don't need a Hindu pretending to be a Christian to take his place. This all smacks of NWO. DON'T BE FOOLED AGAIN.
Need more? In his 2022 book, Nation of Victims, Vivek called Trump a loser, sided with Pence & said he supports masks. He talks out of both sides of his mouth.
VIVEK WROTE THIS IN HIS BOOK. THESE ARE HIS WORDS:
VIVEK: “It was a dark day for democracy. The loser of the last election refused to concede the race, claimed the election was stolen, raised hundreds of millions of dollars from loyal supporters, and is considering running for executive office again.
I’m referring, of course, to Donald Trump.
Conservatives have their own victimhood complexes these days; we are, after all, a nation of victims now. All that differs is whom we see as our oppressors. The worst victimhood narrative that afflicts modern conservatives is their budding belief that any election they lose must have been stolen. Instead of distinguishing ourselves as the party that strives for excellence and rejects the easy path of victimhood narratives, we simply created our own.
I voted for Trump in 2020. I had some policy disagreements with him—for example, I disapproved of his large-scale government spending and his tariff policies—but I voted for him anyway because he refused to apologize for the things that make America great. Like many Americans, I hungered for the unapologetic pursuit of excellence in our nation. To me, that was something worth voting for. Donald Trump was, notwithstanding his shortcomings, the candidate who best embodied American greatness.
But while Trump promised to lead the nation to recommit itself to the pursuit of greatness, what he delivered in the end was just another tale of grievance, a persecution complex that swallowed much of the Republican party whole.
When my candidate lost the election, I was dissatisfied, but I also felt a sense of peace. The election was done, and it was time to move on. No one likes a sore loser; that’s one of the worst victimhood complexes of all. Accepting the outcomes of elections and having a peaceful transition of power is part of what it means to be a constitutional republic: sometimes your team loses, but if you accept the result and prepare for the next election, eventually the scales will tip your way again. We fought, we lost, and I accepted the result.
So I was especially disappointed when I saw President Trump take a page from the Stacey Abrams playbook. His claims were just as weak as Abrams’s. She claimed voter suppression, he claimed voter fraud. He filed scores of lawsuits over various claims of fraud, as was his right, but they came nowhere close to changing the outcome in a single state, let alone the several swing states whose results he needed to overturn. In many cases, judges the president himself had nominated ruled against him, a sign of health in our nation’s institutions. Of the sixty-two lawsuits he and his supporters filed, he lost all but one, a minor victory in Pennsylvania that affected few votes. A Supreme Court with a strong conservative majority ruled against President Trump twice.
Top election officials in virtually every state, regardless of party, said they’d found no evidence of any significant level of fraud. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issued a statement saying “The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history… There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised. The president fired the agency’s director a few days later. In a call with Georgia’s secretary of state, the president implausibly claimed to have won every single state—something unprecedented in the nation’s history, and a sign that his claims weren’t grounded in fact.
Mike Pence, a man I have great respect for, decided it was his constitutional duty to resist the president’s attempts to get him to unilaterally overturn the results of the election, even in the face of the January 6 Capitol riot. Our institutions did hold, in the end. But they shouldn’t have been tested.”
I’ve only seen one poll pre- and post-debate. Vivek only gained a point. Everything else remained the same.

So, how did the RNC debate do ratings wise? NOT GOOD.
In August 2015, the RNC debate on Fox WITH Trump drew 24 MILLION viewers.
In August 2023, the RNC debate on Fox WITHOUT Trump drew 12 MILLION viewers - or 50% less.
In contrast, the Tucker & Trump interview - which aired at the same time - drew 75 MILLION viewers in the first hour and has now amassed over 260 MILLION views - which makes it the most watched interview EVER - surpassing Oprah’s with Michael Jackson!
RNC DEBATE ON FOX: 12 MILLION VIEWERS
TRUMP/TUCKER DEBATE: 75-260 MILLION VIEWERS
NO COMPARISON
Not only that - but President Trump posted his “mugshot” on Twitter - his first post on Twitter since he was banned on January 8, 2021 - and so far it has reached 250 MILLION viewers. That’s the equivalent of America’s entire adult population!
Trump’s mugshot post is now the most “liked” post ever on Twitter! The whole mugshot thing will backfire & bring more people to Trump! Watch. NEVER SURRENDER. NEVER GIVE UP!
